To study the complex flow characteristics of polymer solution in reservoir porosity, experiments were carried out for the flow of partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide(HPAM) solution in tubes of 10~350μm in diameter. The results show that under the experimental conditions specified in this paper, the flow laws of HAPM solution significantly deviate from those of non-Newtonian fluid mechanics in conventional scales. When the diameter of tubes is small, its average cross-section flow velocity is higher than the conventional result. The smaller the tube diameter, the greater the deviation will be.
