Transform of Local Area Network in Seismic Data Processing System

The Local Area Network of Seismic data processing system of Geophysical Exploration Institute of Jianghan Oilfield Company was established ten years ago.With the increasing connection of new equipments,the efficiency of the whole network is continuously decreased and its stability is becoming worse and worse,resulting in great influence on processing seismic data.Through extensive technical argument,the author advocates upgrading the original network completely by means of fresh network technology and establishing a set of main network of 10000Mbps in order to make full use of the calculating advantage of HPC-Cluster and meet the demands of processing seismic data.
