Key technologies of digital river surveying

To improve and develop the method and equipment of river-crossing reconnaissance,digital river surveying was implemented with GPS-RTK(real time kinematic),ultrasonic sounding,and digital mapping technology.The main design was introduced,and the technical theories of RTK orientating,depth surveying and flow velocity mensurating were expounded.The solution to two important problems,survey-line control and data transfer,was brought forward.Compared with traditional measures,RTK has merits of high frequency,high precision,all weather,and real time.So it is a trend of development of river-crossing reconnaissance in the future.
