Application of ComGIS in the Development Water Resources Management System

The application of GIS in water resources management and the advantages of ComGIS in developing GIS software are briefly introduced.The internal linkage and compositions of different databases and models that were constituted in basin water resources management system are expounded.Then the compositions and functions of spatial database utilized in this system based on ComGIS are analyzed.Based on them,the structure of this system is described.The application of the Huaihe River is taken as an example.The function of GIS module and calculation module is analyzed.Finally,the prospect and the application characteristics of ComGIS are summarized.
