Development and application of LIMS in water environmental monitoring

The development and application of Laboratory Information Management System(LIMS) in Guangdong Province Water Environmental Monitoring Center and its 9 branch centers are introduced.After LIMS operation,the working efficiency of the laboratory is improved remarkably.We elaborate the important role of LIMS as a modern laboratory management tool in improving water environmental monitoring efficiency,standardizing quality control,ensuring data reliability,raising laboratory management level and so on.
