Resistance of polyester-amide reverse osmosis membrane to fouling and chlorine

A novel reverse osmosis membrane based on polyesteramide was fabricated by interfacial polymerization and its resistance to humic acid and chlorine was investigated.The results show that the polyester-amide reverse osmosis membrane has better anti-fouling and anti-chlorine properties than normal polyamide reverse osmosis membrane.Furthermore,the surface potential of membrane,resistance to fouling and chlorine and the relevant mechanism was discussed.
