Regular Expression is a kind of very strong data index technique that comes from the Unix system.The oracle database 10g started to add a kind of new function characteristic:support the regular expression.This text mainly introduces the concept of Regular Expression,and analyses the description of how the Oracle database 10g supports the regular expression,finally through some examples analyses how to apply regular expression in the procedure of database application design.
