Identical Subgraph Searching Based Point Pattern Matching Algorithm

Point pattern matching is an important researching topic of computer vision and pattern recognition,which is a very difficult problem due to the influence of noise,field of view etc.A novel subgraph searching method based matching algorithm was proposed.Relational graph was built up for the point patterns,and the concepts of graph,subgraph,graph isomorphism,graph identical,support vertice set etc were given.The related properties and theorems were proved.Based on these,the maximum identical subgraph searching algorithm was proposed for point pattern matching.Experiments on rotation,noise and outliers demonstrate the validity of the algorithm.
