This paper analyses of the floating point number'storge format based on IEEE 754,presents a improved algorithm based on ARM7 according to converting floating point number to integer.Compared,it discusses on C/C+ + data type conversion and the improved floating point number to integer,compares the advantages and shortages of the algorithms.This method improved the speed of converting floating point number to integer.And it is used on ARM.
