A Testing Method Based on Domain Boundary Analysis on Program

Points near domain boundary are more sensitive to program faults than other points. Ac- cording to the feature, this paper presents a novel approach based on domain boundary analysis on program. To tested program, its domain is determined and is divided into some subdomains. By analyzing domain boundary as well as subdomain boundaries, testing cases are generated. Experi- ments show that the ratio of fault coverage can thus be remarkably improved by testing those points near boundary.
