Goals play a prominent role in the RE proces s. They provide a complete criterion for the requirements specification; the s pe cification is complete if all stated goals are met by the specification. In this paper, we adopt Eric Yu's i* [Yu95], a modeling framework for early requirem ents, and uses it all along the life-cycle as a foundation to post-modeling re quirements, architectural and detailed design and implementation.
