Introduction was made to a kind of design method for intelligent lightning-proof timing sockets.The hardware of the sockets included the stabilized voltage supply,lightning protection,microcontroller unit system and power option etc circuits,and the software of the system included the flowchart of main program and interrupt program.The socket can time and proof lightning.It is convenient for people to use the sockets frequently to realize switching and connection of different kinds of electric apparatus.Also the electric apparatus connected to the sockets is protected effectively.The sockets are suitable for practical applications.
