Design of PMU communication mode based on USB

This paper introduces a design of communication mode based on USB for Phasor Measurement Unit(PMU).It describes the design process of USB communication module in PMU and puts forwards the design method of firmware program,drives and application software.It also realizes the remote transmission of PMU data by using USB remote expansion technology.The adoption of USB technology can not only satisfy the requirement of high speed transmission of PMU data but also keep PMU running independently without computer.
