Blind interference cancellation approach based on ML criterion in DS-CDMA system

The authors discuss the problem of blind cancellation of MAI and ISI in DS-CDMA in this paper.Based on the ML Criterion,the authors provide one EM approach to optimize the coefficients of the blind receiver.and the statistical features of transmitted symbols and the character of AWGN.The authors also derive one linear constraint from these coefficients.Through computer simulations it shows that the proposed blind interference cancellation approach exhibits considerable near-far resistance and attains convergence using small blocks of observations.The authors conclude that this approach is valuable in WCDMA.
