Combining to construction and management experience of hydrology telemetric system,the article discusses the importance of requirement analysis in water resources informatization system construction.It introduces the requirement concept and content from 5 levels which are business,user,system,function and not-function.It analyses the main note of requirement analysis on system construction of water resources informatization emphatically from first-phase preparations,knowing about users business and related knowledge,classifying users correctly,demand fesibility analysis,determining the demand priority level.Thus it explains the requirement analysis is the important guarantee of successfully constructing the water resources informatization system.
