The Measurement and Research of Intel 8251A Serial Interface Circuit's Transmission Function

A serial interface circuit's synchronous or asynchronou s serial da ta communication is respectively controlled by using RxC (TxC) with different fr equency and different baud rate. The measurement results showed the frequency b e tween 8251A interface circuit's CLK pulse and RxC (TxC) pulse have loose limit r elationship; asynchronous available communication baud rate some times higher th an 19.2 kbps. The measurement results provide reliable experiment data for 82 51A serial interface circuit' communication transmission ability is reasonable and p roper enhanced.
