Research and Implementation of TWAC Service Across Networks

To fulfill the requirement of enterprise users with communicating across networks,a true wide area centrex(TWAC) service is proposed,a voice service based on the integration of public switched telephone network(PSTN) and Internet protocol(IP) networks.To communicate between two different networks,the special requirements to network elements such as local switch(LS),service switch point(SSP) and media gateway controlor(MGC) are brought forward in the service solution.TWAC runs on the integrated intelligent network(IN) platform,and employs intelligent network application protocol(INAP) capability set 2(CS2) and SIP protocols to realize the service integration.The solution aims to efficiently use the resource of trunk gateway(TG) and trigger the service directly.Service features,solutions and main information flows are expounded.
