The electronic government system based on workflow

With the coming of the 21st century,the demand for office automation(OA) is increasing and the Internet technology has made rapid progress. The electronic government system based on workflow has become a complex technology and an important sign of the information time. In this paper,the development of a cadaster administration system is presented and it is shown that the workflow is an important part of the electronic government system. The idea and features of Lotus Notes in designing the electronic government system are introduced,and it is thought that the Lotus Notes system is quite practical for such designing. The application future of this system and some problems to be solved are also discussed.
