Letω_1 andω_2 be two homogeneous words and suppose that they respectively define the varieties V_(ω_1)and V_(ω_2)of groups.Denote byθ_(ω_i)the standard exponent ofω_i for i=1,2, which was introduced in Ref.[1].We obtain that if V_(ω_1)■V_(ω_2),thenθ_(ω_1)|θ_(ω_2).
