ISO/IEC JTC1 SC36 is responsible for the development,release and promotion of the technical standards for educational Informatization.The plenary,working group meetings and open forum of the 24th ISO/IEC JTC1 SC36 were successfully held on September 9-17th,2011 in Shanghai,China.This paper first introduces the progress in the plenary and working group meetings;and then describes the development of international standards for educational informatization technology.Finally it reviews papers and reports in the open forum and analyzes characteristics and issues in the context.It provides ideas and guides for relevant follow-up research and promotes the developments of technical standards for educational Informatization in China.
