Deployment in wireless sensor networks

The deployment of the sensors is of importance in WSNs,it reflects the cost and the capability of monitoring.It becomes one of the fundamental issues following location and tracing.Although lot of research work have been conducted outside china,yet there are a number of challenges due to the different situation and goal in each application.Based on a lot of most recent published papers and research results the challenges,research status and the advantage and disadvantage of some existing algorithms are analysed.The possible future work for deployment algorithm is pointed out.Taking the design in environment monitoring as example,the important part is discussed.
