real-time monitor in poisonous gases’concentration based on Visual Basic’s serial communication

The Visual Basic’s MSComm is applied to the developing of serial data communication in this paper.By using the eventdriven mode of MSComm control,the system can accomplish the real-time and automatic monitor for poisonous gases’ concentration from remote source of pollution,and showed a good long term actual application affect.
