A Survey on the BGP Security

The security of BGP is one of the core issues of inter-domain routing systems, and the key problem is how to protect the validity and integrity of BGP routing information. Many solutions have been proposed, but none is deployed effectively as of yet. This paper constitutes the BGP threat model, and analyses these BGP security approaches. Some new ideas are also presented.
