Optimization Design of GPS Time Synchronization System in 330kV Substations

This paper introduces the structure of GPS time synchronization system, analyzes the requirements of time setting for automatic equipments in 330 kV substations and the application of the GPS.Based on a typical project of the 330 kV substations,the paper proposes an optimization design scheme for the time synchronization system in the 330 kV substations, and gives a prospect of the time synchronization system in substation.
