An algorithm of calculating the dime nsion chain using AutoCAD

This paper presents a new algorithm t o search and calculate the dimension chain,using the pristine marking of the drawing whic h is drawn under the environment of AutoCAD,it can form dimension matrix and tolerance matrix automatically,then search and cal culate the dimen sion chain.It can be used in the cal-culation of both closing link and com ponent link.The corresponding soft ware has been developed,applied in a c-tual analysis of dimension successfully.
