Dynamic selection for channel reservation based on exact potential game

Due to the time-varying characteristics of available spectrum in cognitive radio networks,the static reservation considered previously in the spectrum handoff is obviously not suitable for the actual environment.To solve this problem,the interactive model and game theory of cognitive radio are discussed and a scheme of dynamic selection for channel reservation based on exact potential game is proposed in this paper.This scheme considers cognitive radio as a kind of interference reducing network and achieves adjustments of dynamic parameters according to the interactive game theory.Tests results under the 802.11h settings show that the channel can be dynamic reserved with a slight increase in network interference.Moreover,the reserved channel is not subject to the environment and thus applied to all of the network coverage.
