The Study of Classification of the Left Bank Dam Foundation Rock Mass Quality of a Certain Hydroelectric Project in the Southwest

Three methods,Q system,RMR and BQ,are adopted to classify the left bank dam foundation rock mass quality of a hydropower project and the correlation among these methods is also analyzed in this paper.The analysis shows that the results have good correlation.The paper has put forward both specific indications and practicable method of operation for application of the rock mass quality classification to practical construction projects based on the plenty survey and data analysis.
