Application on Fault Diagnosis of Hydraulic Pump Based on Rough Set

In order to solve the practical need of fault diagnosis of hydraulic pump,a new fault diagnosis method based on rough set(RS) theory was proposed.This method uses wavelet analysis to process noise abatement for original data and combines with software Labview to extract characteristics so as to get data information which reveal its inherent laws and establish fault diagnosis decision-making table.Then it utilizes rough set(RS) theory to extracts diagnosis rules in decision-making table for the sake to provide effective basis for fault diagnosis of hydraulic pump.The validity of this method was verified through the experiments.
