One Image Edge Detection Based on Wavelet Transform and Its Realization

The basic theory of wavelet transforms and Convenience and the availability of wavelet and focus on the methods of edge detection in wavelet transform are introduced.Then focus on the multi-scale edge detection based on B-spline wavelet and the obtained multiscale wavelet transform was combined with adaptive thresholds to extract image edge at different scales. Results show that this method is superior to the traditional edge detection methods with both precise image edge detection and effectivenoise restraining.
