The article studies the factors which affects the curve shape of knitted sweater piece to grasp the rule that the curve shape of clothes piece is formed.According to the style and the request of narrowing and widening of knitted sweater,by using the computer software mapping,the curve shape formed by narrowing and widening of sweater piece can be simulated.And the way of narrowing and widening of sweater piece can be obtained according to the drawing of simulation.Through this method mentioned above,the shape and way of narrowing and widening of sweater piece may be directly seen and got,and also the drawing of shape of narrowing and widening of sweater piece can be made according to the way of narrowing and widening of sweater piece vice versa.The article analyzes the effect of numbers,length,slope variety of lines on shape of curve and get the method of how to narrow and widen sweater piece combining with the rule of line fitting curve.
