Research on spatiotemporal chaos binarization method

According to the characteristic of spatiotemporal chaotic sequences produced by coupled map lattices model, based on the binarization method using sign function, a new binarization method is proposed. The results of randomness and correlation tests show that the randomness of binary sequences given by the new method is good. Moreover these sequences have good correlation. These facts show that the new binarization method proposed in this paper is effective, simple and practive.
