Review of Index Structure for Main Memory Database

Nowadays,main memory database has already become the hot spot in database studies.Indexes can potentially speed up a variety of operations in a database system.In this paper,we present several relatively mature index structures in ongoing main memory database.Then,we give a comparison between them on lookup times.After analyzing the properties of each structure,we get a conclusion that CSS-Tree and CSB-Tree have good cashe conscious,high lookup time and space utilization ratio.
