Security Architecture Research Based on Authentication Technology

The problem of network security is not solved by a single technology, but is a tridimensional and multidimensional policy. Therefore, we should pay attention to all segments to settle security problem, including operating system security, application security, data transmission security and so on. And authentication is the key point in these segments and the first gate of security. This paper discusses how to use GINA and extensional technology on Windows. With mentality of middle ware, we introduce the improved project of GINA. Finally, put forward the third-part authentication-two-factor authentication to provide flexible mechanism for third-part identification.
