Design of Anti-Blocking-Type Biomass Screw Feeder at A Granular Level

In the process of biomass fast pyrolysis,continuous feeding is the key of reaction.Biomass particle is prone to clogging the common screw feeder.According to the stress analysis of the bearings at both ends of the feeder and the clogging of outlet and inlet of feeder,the different bearings were chosen and the spiral blade which was in the semi-circle or circle of the opposite rotation in the outlet was designed.The anti-blocking mechanism composed by cam-spring-guide was also designed in the inlet.The feed was smooth,stable and uniform,good sealing in the practical application.
