Softswitch-based Access in PHS Network

PHS effectively expands the service capability of traditional telephone system and enhances the competition strength of the existing telephone network. Softswitch, on the other hand, as a promising technology for the traditional telecommunication network to evolve into the NGN (Next Generation Network), has been a hotspot investigated by the telecommunication field. The paper studied the PHS system soft switch access technology based on the integration of these two technologies. First of all, it introduced the PHS system and SIP protocol. Then it presented a design of the construct of the combination of the PHS and SIP. Finally, it introduced a major picture of signal flow.
