Application of data mining and database technology in expert system for fault diagnosis

The possibilities of applying data mining technology to expert system are analyzed.A new method for drawing and filtering control rules by using rough sets and sets pair analysis is proposed.And a inference engine design based on database and related technologies,combined with the practical experience to develop intelligent fault diagnosis system is discussed.
