Design and realization of background database for investigation of main agricultural product safety in Zhejiang province

AbstrcatEstablishing background database of main agricultural product safety which based on relational database can provide the essential information and support of crop safety production. Based on the database designing theory and the system requirement, the entities of the system were analyzed by the entity-relation method in present study. The database was designed according to the relation analysis of entities. The design included concept design, logic design, and physical design. Database was established by using Microsoft Access software. Finally, a database management system, which owning some functions of data maintenance and consult, data statistics, and print of report forms, was developed under the Visual Basic environment.
