DVB-H Antenna Based on Co_2-Z Ferrite for Folder-Type Mobile Phones

A low-loss Z-type hexaferrites(Sr1Ba2-xBixCo2+xFe24O41 with x=0,0.15) has been developed by means of the conventional solid-state reaction in this paper.The proposed antenna based on this material has an approximately omnidirectional radiation pattern and yields greater than-3dBi average gain in the band of 470 to 702MHz,radiation efficiency of the antenna is 33.5% to 63.7% in the band.These features are suitable for DVB-H(Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld) applications.
