This paper introduces the basic knowledge of cloud computing: definition, classification, production and development,characteristics and core technology. Through the analysis of problems and deficiencies of the traditional laboratory center in theconstruction and management, proposed the new model of laboratory center in the construction and management based on cloudcomputing. It has many characteristics and advantages, such as reliability, availability, scalability, economy, safety, convenienceand so on, and it has value of practical and promotional.
