Study and Implementation of the Student Electing-course Analytical System Based on OLAP

In view of the student electing-course systems,a new approach has been proposed in order to apply data warehouse and online Analytical Processing technology to teaching management.With reseach of data model of the electing-course,the paper gives design and implementation for the system.Moreover,with the support of electing-course data of universities and colleges,a general system modeling based on OLAP has been developed.With the analysis of a large number of historical data,some useful experimental results are obtained.After applying to practice,they could offer reference for the decision of the stuent electing-course and teaching management.
