Research on Linux Operating Process Visualization

In order to show key operating process of Linux OS visually,a method was proposed that inserted segments of codes into key positions of Linux source code to collect data,record the kernel activities and then make them visual in visualization form.Aiming at reconstructing the kernel activities during certain period of time,the states of running Linux were described;the method of data acquisition was given out from running kernel. Finally,the descriptions and visual processing of a specific example were showed.
