Application of Data Communication and Computer Network in the Transportation System

The computers are applied gradually in the transportation system since 60 s,they can process a great deal of data at the same time,and realize communications in time.Along with the development of the computer technique and the construction of highway,the computer network plays a more importance part in the application of highway′charge.this text introduces a kind of highway′ charge system by computer network and data communication technique,which according to the Electronic Toll Collection(ETC) system of the future development,and analyze the structure character and composing principle of this system.
