Application of RT-CORBA in streaming media technology

To guarantee the streaming media QoS in multimedia system application,we propose a service frame of A/V stream based on RT-CORBA middleware entity,which can afford QoS management for the distributed multimedia system.The frame offers an application-level approach to solve the current caching problem and a mechanism to support QoS in the RT-CORBA environment.The functions of displaying and refurbishing the real-time streaming media content in multimedia teaching system are implemented well.Applying RT-CORBA concept to the streaming media may manage and control the stream better,and ensure the transport quality of real-time streaming media.
