The Historical Review about China's Foreign-Language Periodicals that are Aiming for Introducing China to Foreigners

Because of the lack of the research about China's foreign-language periodicals that are aiming for introducing China to foreigners,philological methods and case studies are used in the thesis in order to do a full-scale research about this kind of periodical.China's own foreign-language periodicals have their origins in the time of anti-Japanese War.It's development can be divided into three major periods: 1938-1941,1946-1949,1949 till now.Among the existing 197 kinds of foreign-language periodicals,there are only 19 which are aiming for introduce China to foreigners.The most representative are China Today and Beijing Weekly.
