Field Experiments of Radiophytoremediation and Its Application Prospect

The paper summarizes the state of the art in the field of pilot experiments of radiophytoremediation.The effects of radionuclide bioavailability and hyperaccumulators on phytoremediation efficiency were discussed,and time required in radiophytoremediation was simulated and evaluated according to a conservative model which was established by authors.The prospect of radiophytoremediation was discussed in terms of requirements for remediation of radionuclide contaminated environment.
