Development and Application of a Bar-Code Management System for High-Cost Consumables

With deployment of the Power Builder(9.0.3) software,a bar-code management system was developed on the basis of the C/S infrastructure according to the actual conditions of the hospital and integrated with HIS(Hospital Information System).This practice has avoided the repeated or neglected charging and proven its effectiveness in traceability management of high-cost consumables in the hospital.
