A VM-Based design method for embedded memory system

A method proposed in this paper, which is a derivative of the virtual memoryarchitecture in computer systems, utilizes banking and virtual interface technologies to design asystem with a 256k-byte code memory and a data memory of 128k bytes. The method, expanding thesystem addressing space greatly, enhances the transparence of OS as well.
