Investigation of Strategy on Cell Selection and Cell Reselection in Cellular Communication Networks

In this paper,a simple measurement method on cell selection and cell reselection is proposed.We could accurately obtain the attenuation criteria and cell reselection criteria by applying this method,for a giving Mobile Station(MS) in cellular communication networks such as GSM network.Furthermore,it could be exploited in any cellular communication systems by changing some simulation parameters.
