Research progress of wavelet neural networks in application to hydrology and water resources

Wavelet neural networks was based on the artificial neural networks.The method has some excellent characteristics such as not only exceptional approaching ability,fault-tolerance capability but also quick constringency and preferably prediction effect.On the premise of introducing its structure and characteristics,the article mainly introduces the research actuality of wavelet neural networks in the hydrology and water resources,and puts forward some problem of its theory and application.
