An enterprise needs to improve its management mode and contingency ability constantly in order to face international competition. Change of management mode will surely result in change of MIS exploration system, so that the system is required to be highly adaptable, flexible and advanced. This paper analyzes the structure and characteristic of MIS system, defines the necessity of open and flexible designing mode, and also expounds with examples how to achieve an open, flexible, large database management platform and to run an enterprise at the least expense by use of MIS oil and gas exploration system.
